The hamlet of Medlicott is near Church Stetton and sits on a rise at the foot of the Long Mynd range of hills, as shown in the picture above, as seen from the west. There are three main farms, The Upper Hall Farm, the Hall Farm and the Lower Hall Farm.

A sketch of the old Medlicott manor house by Sir Hubert James Medlycott drawn on the 28th September 1901 is shown here. Parts of the house dated back to the 15th century.
